RCCommunity code of conduct#
RCForge welcomes people with different backgrounds, experience levels and ways of working. Treat contributors, users and maintainers with respect in issues, pull requests and other project spaces.
Expected behavior#
- Be considerate and constructive. Critique ideas and implementation choices, not people.
- Make room for questions from people learning software development or RC aircraft.
- State sources, assumptions and testing honestly. Acknowledge and correct mistakes.
- Respect privacy, attribution, licensing and the work of others.
- Keep discussions relevant and avoid flooding the project with repetitive or unreviewed material.
Harassment, threats, discriminatory language, unwanted sexual attention, disclosure of private information and targeted personal attacks are not acceptable. These expectations apply equally to human-written and agent-assisted contributions.
Reporting and moderation#
Report a concern to a repository maintainer. For sensitive details, use a private contact method a maintainer lists on their GitHub profile; do not assume GitHub has private messaging. If no private contact is listed, open a minimal issue asking for a confidential contact without naming affected people or publishing the incident details. The repository owner's profile is adithya-s-k.
Maintainers may remove content, close or lock discussions, request a change in behavior, or restrict participation to protect the community. Responses should be proportionate to the circumstances and respect the privacy of those involved. Repeated or serious violations can result in removal from project spaces.
